Camlik Railway Museum-Turkey
8th September 2008

During my recent Holiday cruising around the Greek Islands one of the Ports-of-Call was Kasadasi in Turkey.About 12 miles inland from here is located a rather nice Railway Museum at a place called Camlik. This is situated in and around the site of the original station and running-shed.The main line was diverted many years ago leaving this old complex "off the network".
The collection totalled 32 locomotives and various other rolling-stock all nicely spaced out in some gardens and also around the old depot turntable. Here are some of the better pictures. As you can see the sky was china-blue but believe me it was very HOT!
(All shots taken with a "Sony-CyberShot" 6megs,Great camera if nothing is moving.)
