The Classic general view of just how massive a collection of locomotives were stored at the Barry Docks site.Certain engines are easily recognised,61264,34007,30541 and 34105.All were to return to steam in the future. In all nearly 100 engines are visable in this single shot alone..August 1968..Previous | NextNow restored and kept at Didcot GWR 2-6-0 5322 is seen dumped in Woodhams Yard waiting for its fate.Still complete with all fittings including brass top-feed cover,a far cry from how they looked 20 yrs later..August 1968..
